Camp on a Christmas Day!

One more day closer to New Year, 2011! This year, I spent my splendid Christmas in a camp as stated in my previous post and now I'm going to talked all about it! :)

First up, we went to Chin Bee Road to Tian Yin Hua Gong to know more about the history. Was given an apple and biscuits as the leader told us we may have a very late lunch! The apple was super yummy and crunchy! Me love! :)

My chilhood love! The colourful biscuits! :):)

After which, we went to Camp Christine where we'll spend our rest of the camp there! First activity was to cook lunch! Hee!

See these happy faces! They must be having fun! Fs, Sy and XL. Haha! FS looks scary with the knife! :/

 HH and happy Zb.

While some are cooking.... Some are chatting (I'm one of them. :x)! Wx looks funny. HAHA! I think Cyy is talking a full load of rubbish at that time. Guys can be really crappy and lame at times! The kitchen was too packed with people that we can't help much!

What "we" have made. :) Its like a Cabbage feast man! Too bad cos we had too much cabbage!! There is another dish, brinjal, but it wasn't served yet when I took this picture.

I think this is Day 2 already? I didn't really take a lot of pictures cos I'm in a camp yo! The yellow paper-like thing is called "Kong Ming Deng"! Its a lantern where you write your wishes on and then let it flyyyyyy into the sky, hoping your wishes will come true. :D

 Sy's wish. :)
Didn't take my wish down cos I think its lame. :x I don't really have wishes right!
So I wished for world peace and everyone to be happy and healthy always. Dont LOL at my wish, tyvm.

CAMPFIRE! Left after that and the camp was really enjoyable! :):)
And if you're wondering why I'm not in any of the pictures above, its cos I'm the photographer! The only picture I'm in was this and I look effing fat. Fml. -.-

One of the many stories that touched my heart when I was in the camp was this:

There's this tz who had lost his mum 4 years ago.
He was telling us that sometimes, he would think of his mum's voice, but he cannot recall how it sounds like anymore.
Sometimes he would think of the dishes that his mum had made for him when she's alive, but he cannot recall the taste anymore.
Sometimes he would think of his mum's face, but he cant feel it anymore.
And he would just tear anytime and anywhere when he's reminded of his mum.

It was really heartwrenching when I heard this. Losing someone so dear can be really painful and not only for a moment, it may be for a lifetime. But he's still strong and moving on cos he knows what he is doing now will make his mum in heaven and also his dad on earth proud.

He wanted us to treasure what we have ,which is our parents, and not regretting after you've lost them. This makes me feel like staying home so that I can be with my parents more then just going out with friends. Now I know why they don't really like me going out every other single day. I promise to go out lesser from this day cos i never want to regret anything. :)

Hope you guys would understand and be fillial to your parents now or never! Maybe ya'll don't feel much after reading this prolly due to my use of words. Or maybe cos my parents are still healthy and alive (Thank God!) thus I can't express as much as he did. But really hope you'll get my point. I teared upon hearing this cos he really touched my heart.
On a lighter note....
This is the SUPER cheapskate, comfy and nice pumps I bought a few days ago w Hy! You cannot believe how much this pair of pumps cost man. Just wanted to post cos its really nice. ^^

And also....

My New love - Marks and Spencer's cookie (not sure if it is one as it dont really look like a cookie)? Anws, its SUPER DUPER ULTRA MEGA NICE AND ADDICTIVE I SWEAR. Thanks Yk for giving me this as a Christmas gift! It's really SUPER nice. Not sure if he'll see this but I'm really grateful and sorry I didn't prepare any presents. :x

That super nice cookie shall end this post. Teehee! Ciao! :)

Staying home is not a chore, it's a blessing in disguise. -thlady
